MING VOSS CONCEPT BRAND
DESCRIPTION
Ming Voss is a concept brand I ​created. Featured are sample brand ​and product R&D strategy for it. *Following are excerpts, this section ​does not display all R&D documents.
ROLES
CONCEPTS ORIGINATION
All including: the Ming Voss brand and style, brand CPG extension line, CPG product concepts of fragrance and cosmetics. For fragrance: (naming, brand-centric fragrance scent formulation, affiliated ad fragrance description content writing). For cosmetics: eyeshadow palette (naming: product and palette colors), lip color pots (naming: product and colors). For ads: all (fashion designer identity ad, and CPG extension line cosmetic ads for eyeshadow palettes for North America, the Philippines, and South Africa markets).
RESEARCH
Google and YouTube research (with and without shopping intent filters) to identify clustering of prospective consumer interests in alignment with the concept brand’s ethos and offerings. Also, research on specific international markets regarding the CPG landscape for the cosmetics category.
STRATEGIES
All including: for the concept designer brand’s apparel and CPG extension line products, and for domestic as well as the international markets chosen (the Philippines and South Africa). The strategic ideas for expanding into these markets. This also includes the high volume sales launch strategy I created for entry into the Philippines market. Also, for the development of next steps products and their ideal product formulations, as well as marketing angles based on research of the CPG cosmetics landscape for each market.
CONTENT WRITING
All including: all pages in this portfolio section (general content pages, concept apparel and product pages as well as associated ads).
DESIGN LAYOUTS
All except: for text heavy information pages. I utilized a basic template for those pages which I modified. I created all other page design layouts without any pre-made templates. The design layouts which are my original work (and include typography, images, and graphic elements selected encompass: brand intro, brand snapshot, brand identity debut ad for North America market, concept fragrance product page, concept eyeshadow palette product page, concept lip colors product page, CPG cosmetics ads for North America, the Philippines, and South Africa markets).

Concepts origination refers to all brand and product related ​concepts pertaining to this hypothetical brand I created.
All page layouts are my own. The only exceptions are pages ​with the heaviest text, where I utilized a template I modified for those pages ​to keep all of the information organized. Typography, design, and image choices are my own.
